Experience the rich culture and magnificent history of Venice at this dynamic, original and entertaining show that tells and celebrates the fascinating story of the great city of Venice. Now very much part of the landscape of Venice, VENEZIA the show, gives visitors to Venice an insight into the traditions and story of this great and important city while delivering a few laughs along the way.
The show features a cast of six actors who tell this great story in a original and dynamic way. Wagner who died in what is now the Casino (In the arms of his mistress). Vivaldi with some of the most beautiful music in the world. Paganini and his great Carnival Variations. Lord Byron, resident of Venice and great poet and of course Casanova and many more.
Its fascinating, revealing, often funny and at times a little scandalous.
Alongside the “GREAT PERFORMANCES” are some “STUNNING PROJECTIONS”. The theatre is equipped with with ten high quality projectors and a state of the art surround sound system. The projectors are used to great effect during the show to surround you, the audience with great still and moving film images that transport you through time with the cast to the locations and moments in the great story of Venice.
The show is both a cultural experience and great entertainment.

TEATRO SAN GALLO is easy to find being located just a few steps from the world famous Piazza San Marco. Take a vaporetto to Rialto or San Marco and you will be a short ten minute walk from the theatre.
Campo San Gallo is a quiet oasis away from the bustle of San Marco. There are great restaurants, a superb coffee bar with outdoor seating, a few shops and the only glass factory in central Venice.

Based on the acclaimed BBC series, Francesco’s Venice. It gives a fascinating overview of the history of the Republic of Venice, putting the beauty of all you see around you in its historical context.
Entry to this short film is only €5.00
Showings during the mornings from 10.am and in the afternoon subject to theatre schedule. And always at 6.pm.
